PS5 AND a Series S. I have been Xbox since Xbox 1 but my son bought a PS5 over the summer. The PS exclusives are pretty awesome. I like how PS handled adding additional memory vs Xbox’s overpriced proprietary crap. I love my Series X but if you don’t already have a ton invested in games for either platform the PS is mighty tempting even for an Xbox guy like me.

My bad for over stepping. Just seen a rise in people bragging about the series X power over the PS5 lately and spreading a lot of false information - which for a buyer is a bit shitty!

I rlly wanna play TLOU, Horizon forbidden west and ghost of Tsushima but overall I prefer Xbox. Is it worth getting a whole different console just for the Games?

Playstation exclusives sell it for me there to good to pass on.. God of war , horizon, last of us, uncharted Spiderman but I think if you were not into single player story driven games I might have a different perspective

I say ps is middle ground because xbox is quintessentially console and pc is the polar opposite. Ps to me feels like a good blend of console perks and benefits and pc playability and quality.

The haptic controller on the ps5 is amazing. The ps4 not so much. And the entire style is a clear rip off of the xbox controller design (granted its not a patented design and is the most ergonomic controller design to date but still).

I mentioned ps exclusives are legendary. God tier. And in fairness so is the tiers. But game pass is just better in so many more ways.

You will have to give up on something, ps, xbox or money hehe. Maybe get ps5. Play exclusives you want. Sell it. Get xbox.

Why not both? For money you got for pc you can get ps5 and series s. Other option, since you really want to play ps exclusives get ps5. If there is something xbox exclusive it will probably be on gamepass. xcloud is becoming very good and accessible and it should be good for singleplayer games. With xbox you have more flexibility where to play games.

• Whilst PS tiers pale in comparison to game pass, they get amazing monthly games compared to Xbox imo. December is Mass Effect Legendary Edition & Biomutant for example. GWG has been treading water for ages now.

It’s a few points that I think are very worthy when contemplating the two.

I own both and honestly don’t think you can go wrong with either option. However to actually experience next gen? PS will get you there sooner - I’m still waiting on series x.
