There are a few graded by VGA as un-opened... yes. Not many though. I think I've seen about 2 or 3 truly unopened and they were all graded at the 8 level. Last one at open auction went for 7k I believe? Or somewhere around there.

Yup. You can find them on Ebay from time to time sold by people who don't understand the significance of the little sticker.

The very earliest NES stuff sold during the test market phase had glossy stickers sealing them, and then matte stickers, before they did away with the stickers for the full retail launch.

Yes. Of course there are. I have one.
I also have a brand new Sega Master System.

Alright. Have you owned a brand new NES before? Just curious

There could be a Nintendo seal on the opening flap that I'm unaware of but my understanding is there's no seal/sticker. I could be wrong.
Almost positive none got shrink wrapped though.

Oh, so you are saying Nintendo did not seal them?
amcman15 t1_iyt6mp3 wrote
Of course! I don't believe they shrink wrapped them so, uh, honour system on that one. It'd be very hard to determine whether or not it had been opened before. Only under exceptional circumstances could you determine that.

The odds are astronomical, and the chances of finding one probably kay with someone who got it in their mind that they were going to buy two and keep one sealed, and has probablybbeen sold off already or lost in someone's storage and probably crushed or scratched unsealed.

I said that if you're happy playing with potato graphics, at 720p, with 30fps and you're happy to pay over 300 for that, you're dumb

Ahh, you’re that kind of guy. You only care about graphics and think the switch is for kids. Games are about fun. Just because it doesn’t have every title be m rated or focus on graphics doesn’t make it bad. The sales speak for itself. Nintendos decision to focus on the fun and innovation of the switch was clearly the right choice. I don’t see why you can’t comprehend that graphics aren’t everything. What do you want? For every console to be the exact same? For them all to only focus on making stationary boxes of just good graphics? The console market would have less life if it was just ps and Xbox. The switch brings a fun colourful and portable option to the table. There’s a reason the switch appeals to general audiences more than either of the other ones.

Super smash Bros at 60 😂 also performance to price its overpriced. The switch is a console for kids. Also if you don't care about FPS or graphics then you're an idiot

It’s not meant to be impressive. The average person doesn’t care about having the greatest graphics, and that’s why the switch sells like hotcakes. Even then, the games Nintendo makes don’t need it. They know how to optimize games to look the best they can with what they’re given. And I’m literally playing super smash bros right now at 60. If you personally care a lot about graphics that’s great, but just because of your preferences the switch isn’t overpriced. People buy consoles based on their needs, and the switch suites the needs of those that recognize graphics don’t make a console.
Also, where the hell do you find Xbox for that cheap??? That’s either a shitty conditioned console, or a terrible seller.

Which games? Also 60fps at like 720p isnt impressive at all, an Xbox one for £50 can do that

Yeah but have fun playing everything at 30fps or less, for the price it should be a lot better

Power isn’t everything. The whole point is portability which an Xbox doesn’t have, it’s great for co-op as many seek that, and it grants you access to the Nintendo library. It’s about preferences, not just power.

It's inbetween that's why, also the Nintendo switch is overpriced and bad. A series s+cheap monitor costs the same but is way more powerful. Also a steam deck is even better

Those are two different "powers."
That's like saying "it's the colour of an orange/watermelon".
