Yes. Both are fantastic consoles. They both have great experiences to offer, and will have many more in the coming years. There's also backwards compatibility to keep in mind. PS5 is backwards compatible with the vast majority of PS4 games and the Xbox Series X is backwards compatible with many Xbox One, 360, and Xbox games. You'll have many games to choose from

My personal rec would be a switch oled. You get a handful of incredible first party current gen games and decades worth of classics on the online system. If not that then find yourself a ps2 and go nuts with the best game library of all time.

Then I would definitely say it’s worth it, there’s a trove of wonderful exclusives on PlayStation that make it worth the buy

I use my Xbox for “competitive gaming” and what little exclusives they have that I enjoy. I bought a PS5 after having my Xbox for two years and gave zero regrets- PlayStation exclusives are unbeatable and GoW is so bad ass, I’ve been having a blast

Just got a PS5 to replace my Series X. Significantly better imo immediately. The improved sound alone is worth it. Less buggy as well.

Yeah but the open world doesn't really speak to me otherwise I wouldn't mind getting lost in it.

I mean i felt the same but after watching some guides I couldn’t put it down. It’s so good if you can figure it out.
