It’s the developmental areas. Most countries have developmental programs for popular sports in their country, including gaming.
The obsession is the same. Baseball and football are huge in the states. Think La Messina for Barca, youth structures for soccer worldwide.
Also, fwiw, it’s also very fascinating to me that Americans have so much free headspace. Like what does it matter that another culture is different than yours?

there's a field at hornets highway and browns run road. don't look like much of one and doesn't have that odd shape.

Interesting that you have all cities except for the state of Washington. Or is that D.C.?

Of course the majority would think so, Americans are self-centered lol, but this is supposed to represent North America.
IMO you either need to include it to make the title and data accurate or replace any mention of 'Football' with 'NFL'.

Could also be underreporting/overreporting

> Is the football NFL only?
Yes, NFL only.
edit: there was discussion before about that, and I don't think that majority of people would approve including CFL.

This is kind of misleading, nobody is going to hire you if you only know SAS or Tableau lol if a data science position pays six figs you will have to know way more and have years of experience in 2023

Wouldn’t it make more sense to just make it a horizontal bar chart to fix the name issue?
Angling them is often hard to read and there’s a space issue if just the titles were horizontal

I’d like to see this for Canada. In my area of BC, it is probably at 4,000% or higher in places

Is the football NFL only? I think you should include the CFL

What country are you from and what testing system do you use? Where I'm from a 96% average in grade 12 would likely put you at #1 in the country, and a 94% average would likely put you in the top 50 nationally. Honestly I prefer it that way, I can't imagine hundreds of people getting at or near 100 across all subjects, kinda defeats the purpose of figuring out who is at the top.

Tyler Consolidated is also just 2 fields overlapping at the outfields. So the shell shape is very standard

True. I made a city one in response to a similar comment https://www.reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful/comments/zvt54h/oc_us_city_housing_price_changes_since_1991/
The data only goes back to 1991 though.

Lol why is everyone so skeptical of this study when its findings are not at all radical or at odds with the literature? Much higher quality data reflects the same result. It seems ideological bias is at play here...

Incorrect, it's been demonstrated at the undergraduate level. The thought process is very similar: "i didn't deserve to get into this program, i don't belong in this class, i can't participate or learn because I don't belong."

On the plus side, not really, they are only the 5th longest drought in the NBA. There is also 11 teams that have never won. And yes, they do suck.
