Exactly, ruins it for me. They even play in the same stadiums sometimes lol. Including the White Caps and not the Lions is a joke

It's a major sports championship... As the title of your chart claims to represent. It is the top level of football in Canada, which is part of North America. There's no reason to exclude it except to pacify Americans.

Yeah. If you want to add "football" then you need to add the third oldest sports league, and oldest football league, in North America, the CFL.
If you were being honest about "North American" sports leagues and their championships, then you'd have to add 48 football championships to Toronto,14 to Vancouver, 12 to Hamilton, and 8 to Montreal in order for this graph to have any validity.
FFS, OP added MLS, but not the CFL?
When the data is garbage, then its certainly not beautiful.

Fair enough, but there still is no evidence from this dataset that the two groups are significantly different. More information is needed to draw the conclusion given in the post title.

My condolences, but seeing your team miss out on the playoffs this past weekend was quite enjoyable. With that said, I'm an Edmonton Oilers fan so I understand your pain.

The country is huge. West Virginia has no professional sports and really just WVU in terms of national relevance at the college level.
High school sports are the next best thing that bring communities together.

It's not about US vs Canada, it's about level of the league. CFL is really not close tot the NFL level. I'm European, so could be I'm wrong, but my logic was to take top tier leagues of most popular sports.

It's just one of the fun quirks of baseball. Back in the day it was a function of baseball being played on fields meant for other sports (eg. the Polo Grounds) or crammed into the space available (eg. Fenway Park). Then in the mid- to late-20th century, they did build a bunch of cookie cutter ballparks with curved, symmetrical outfields, domes, astroturf, etc. Those were awful, soulless, monstrosities.
Then when Oriole Park at Camden Yards was built in '92 it brought back a "renaissance" of these ballparks that were part of the city. They used existing architecture, borrowed architectural motifs, emphasized skylines, etc. So really it's partially about nostalgia and tradition and partially about emphasizing that each park, city, and club is 'unique".

The Celtics have 15 championship wins so even if this data was beautiful, it’s incorrect

I guess the CFL (Canadian Football League) doesn’t count as a major sports championship.
I love that Montreal has only ever won a championship in hockey, but is still well up on the list.

Scalping houses is only an investment in the sense that you spend now and profit later. It's not actually doing anything productive.
Investing in businesses, although riskier, has the benefit of growing the economy and helping everyone.
In Japan, where quantitative easing was invented, there were strict investment rules to make sure that investors were investing in real investments and not just the real estate speculation that fucked up their economy. Such rules haven't existed here which is why most free covid money got "invested" in houses, causing rampant speculation.
"I'm just investing" haha go invest in a real business or call yourself what you are: a scalper and a parasite.

Data science is a lucrative field. You can get similar salaries with a lot of software engineering jobs too, with a slightly lower barrier of entry.

I'm not sure if you follow soccer, but if you do, have you heard the meme "but can they do it on a cold rainy night at Stoke City?"
take that, but make it not a meme. Make it a serious question - can they do it in some irregular unhelpful field
