I don't think this is accurate at all for many reasons. First of all you took the base model price of the least expensive truck while there are a large percentage of sales that are not the base model of the f-150 so your estimated revenue of 19.5 billion is likely way too low.
Second, your list of manufacturers misses a lot of prominent car manufacturers. Looks like you missed the top 15 based on this site. revenue

Yeah. And by OPs logic, SF gets the As rings from the 70s and 90s.
As for San Jose, you get NOTHING!

You should normalize the data to a basis of one team per sport!

I saw that for the softball field but not the baseball field. Maybe they shift them back and forth depending on which team is playing that day.

If you're not sure why this is disliked, it's because putting a down payment on a house is an unattainable goal for many because they can't save up enough due to high rent.

Why did you miss out a whole load of bigger manufacturers?

So do you give Oakland 3 NBA titles and SF 1? Also do either of these teams get a title of SJ Sharks win?

Fully agree here. The title is extremely misleading. I was so confused where Toyota and Honda were

…except it’s not a comparison vs top auto manufacturers.
Or did Toyota, Mercedes, GM, and, uhm Ford cease to exist?

What an obtuse fucking thing to say.

Methodology: In the past two years the best-selling car in the United States (by far) has been Ford’s F-Series. In fact, it’s made so much money it can rival top automaker companies entire business revenue. I took the base model price ($33,695) for the 2022 Ford F-Series model and multiplied based on the units sold in 2022 (check goodcarbadcar website for daily updated numbers). While there is some variation that is unaccounted for it’s fairly accurate if not even a slight under exaggeration.
-
Ford is the biggest U.S. automaker and generated a revenue of $151 billion so far in 2022, meaning the Ford F-Series accounts for 12.5% of all revenue. That $19.5 billion, if a company generated that amount, would be the 4th biggest U.S. automaker.
