People are critiquing, but I think you did well given the resources available!. I think of a red to blue gradient when looking at temperature, perhaps that’s something to try out here

What your chart is showing is that you've uninsulated your room on Dec 19th. This is not beautiful, sorry.
If you have only one thermometer than loose the calendar aspect and overlay two sets of measurements. You're obviously interested in comparison, and not showing absolute values on a certain date.

I wonder what would happen if we'd also sultanated our rooms. You know, some royal adjustments, and BOOM it looks way cooler.

True they aren't cheap those smart loggers. Ideally yes would have two of them for this purpose

Interesting data, but the X axis could use some work. Since most of the spikes are at multiples of 10, a step of 5 would be better instead of 4. Or labeled spikes

Logging using a single SensorPush HT1 Temperature and Humidity Smart Sensor. The single sensor was moved from one room to another in the same house. Data analysis in Python. Plotting using Matplotlib

This is very cool! Thanks for sharing Pmocz!
One thing you might consider adding into this data set is that some states in the USA publish state university employee salaries. For example, both Wisconsin and Minnesota share the salaries for lecturers, faculty members, etc. which would substantially grow your salary count without waiting for individuals to find your site and upload their own data. What may be challenging, is connecting the additional details like date of PHD and department. And of course, this method would skew your data set towards public institutions substantially.
Best of luck with this project!

Cool visual, I knew Shein had a lot more variety, but seeing it visually is mind-blowing. Unfortunate that you're being downvoted but that's Reddit I guess. Thanks for sharing!
