Yup, it makes no sense to include it on this graph. Text at the bottom says it is the DXY index. So, it is being measured against a mixture of foreign currencies.
One way to make it almost kinda make sense would be to flip it upside-down and label it "foreign currency"

I wonder what they’re trying to spell out.

What is the Dollar measured against? A positive return makes no sense, there’s been inflation this whole year.

Cause French Guiana is part of the country France, while Greenland is not part of the country Denmark. In other words; Greenland is more independent than French Guiana.

Pretty graph! However, including the DXY green line for dollars doesn't make any sense. Presumably all of the other assets are being measured in terms of dollars. DXY is an index comparing the strength of the dollar against other currencies, naturally it is not measured in dollars, so it doesn't belong on this graph.
To see why it doesn't make sense to use a percentage derived from a different unit, imagine if the rate of return of the dollar line was instead measured in terms of its value in bitcoin. This would make the dollar appear to be an amazing store of value in 2022!
Including a dollar line would make sense if the chart was of inflation-adjusted returns. In that case, though, the green line would be entirely below 0%, and the other lines would also be shifted downwards.

because French Guiana is a French department and Greenland is an autonomous territory of Denmark

There are probably thousands of cultures across the land sharing a vast majority of their ethics. I guarantee the vast majority of culture includes many altruistic ideas of coming together.
When two cultures with opposing ideas come together or collide, the victor’s culture often takes over. Sometimes integrating aspects of both.
Christianity is a great example of a religion that contains pieces of other religions before they splintered over time. Many religions share aspects because they’ve evolved with different groups into completely different systems of beliefs.

Was there in April 2022 when this started up again post Covid. Was stuck on table mountain for 3 hours while we waited for the generator to start or the power to come back on. Feel for the people there. Hopefully some good folks will start to help.
Good news is Braai needs no power!

Yes, but I was saying that even the seasonally adjusted figures, which adjust for the historical monthly trend, are lower.

My dad talks about this all the time. It was once a country that had struggles but you could live there fairly well, but now it’s a complete shitshow. Load shedding is a result of what makes the country so unappealing; rampant corruption, unmaintained infrastructure, rampant crime. Shanty towns actually hook up to the power lines, putting huge strain on the grid without providing income to the power companies, and the government does nothing about it. He used to talk about going back to visit, he doesn’t any more.
