My housing costs fluctuate because my roommates are bad at keeping track of utilities and I wasn’t charged every month. I also included purchases for things that were for the house. What’s confusing about retail?

🤔😜Bad Data from poor, insufficient, & skewed sources.😥😡

Poorer countries are more concerned about clean water, food, clothing, shelter, and Physical Health, and Mental Health is far down the list of priorities.

People there can barely see a nurse, let alone a doctor, and an expensive psychiatrist or psychologist is a rare sight to see.

FACTS MATTER.

It’s a bit more complicated. There’s both a political division, which is NYC containing all five boroughs, and the postal code, division.

Unfortunately, for mailing stuff even the people who live in the city refuse to stop putting Brooklyn or New York, NY as the mailing address. This is because each borough at some point in time used to be a city or multiple cities, in the case of Queens and Bronx, or “The Bronx.” These last two boroughs have multiple cities up to this days, which can be seen when mailing address to places like Jamaica and Riverdale in which you would write the address as Riverdale, NY or Jamaica, NY.

Pretty confusing, right?

I like the way you think. The problem is that metal band counts are easy to get from metal archives, but the same resource does not exist for any other genre. Or at least not easily. From what I've seen, what you say is indeed the case. Countries with high metal/capita will also have high music/capita in genre. Genre specific per Capita has a significant cofounder in GDP.

sorry, i meant "carried" balances. if you ask a credit bureau, "how much is there in outstanding credit card debt" they will report back the total balances from all the metro 2 file they've received from the various issuers. The problem is that the metro 2 reporting structure doesn't consider whether the consumer is making minimum payments or paying off the balances in full, its just "current outstanding balance". Many major banks report on a weekly basis now, so even consumers who fully pay off their cards will show a "balance" on the metro 2 file. Someone who spends and pays off their $50k balance every month and someone who makes a $700 payment on their $50k balance that they've been carrying for 3 years will show the same "current outstanding balance"

Basically, between current and delinquencies there's another "hidden" step, where carried balances as a % of overall balances increases, I don't think there's a good accounting of this potential signal anywhere.

New York City is not just manhattan, it’s where the skyscraper are located but the city is made up of other boroughs, Bronx, queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Before you preach baseless information learn that NYC is not Times Square dummy ! Not even the locals go there !

Some townships and cities have municipalities that use different address systems for USPS. My parents live in a city called Mount Holly, but also a smaller township called Eastampton. So while they live in Mount Holly, their mail is addressed to Eastampton. You just need a little more understanding of government is all.

A lot of numbers here are confusing, especially for that retail expense. I would guess that the reason for the move was going from remote to in-office work. I have no idea why OP's housing costs fluctuate so much though, even if you include utilities.

Manhattan hasn’t been the sole borough of NYC since the late 1800’s. The Bronx was annexed in 1870s, and Staten Island, Queens, and Brooklyn were consolidated into NYC in 1898. At the time, the City of Brooklyn was considered to be as thriving of a city as the City of New York and many people weren’t happy with the consolidation, calling it “The Great Mistake of ‘98”. But since then, New York City is comprised of 5 boroughs: Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.
