Ouch, yeah, not worth the risk. Sounds very annoying to live with, but I guess there are worse things.

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds, and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

I sought surgical intervention but declined it as there was a 50:50 chance I’d lose my sense of smell

That is super interesting! I probably sneeze 30 times a year.

As a fellow hyper sneezer yes, 6-8 times a day minimum for me. My sneeze reflex is extra sensitive so the previous sneeze triggers me to sneeze again. My record I think is 30 in a row.

Do you have a pepper shaker permanently lodged up your nose?

Holy shit. How is it possible to sneeze this much? Are you OK?

It would be nice to have. The total dollars spent in the middle of the graph

4am is supposedly the most common time referenced in songs. I wish I could find a source for that.

That wasn't a grammatical difference but a cultural one. That's a german drink I'd never heard of as an american (even though I learned a bit of german). :)

I don't think a day has gone by in the last few years that I didn't drink at least one cup of coffee

Please pardon my ignorance of CA geography but wasn’t it Lake Mead that was so low they were finding old corpses in it? Has that water level risen significantly or is it in an area that hasn’t seen the newsworthy impact? TIA

Isn't it normal to drink Radler? What would the correct verb be?

Oh crap. That's a mistake. I did cycle but only like 30ish km. And I kept myself moving because it helped ignoring the pain. But yeah, mistake on my part

This set of graphs along with many other deep dives into my decade of data was made with Flourish. There's also a graph made with Venngage and a graph made from Microsoft tools on my blog (the first link).

No worries. It's all understandable. Plus I learned what radler is today. I will try it some day. :)

How did you manage to cycle 100km and walk over 5km while being sick that day in November?

If I included rent and bills as one colour my piechart would nearly become monochrome

Perfect example of when not to use pie charts. To many categories, hard to compare quickly. As they taught in my data visualization class, don't make people remember.
Not ugly, but not beautiful (only speaking about the viz, not the data).

Outside of gas and maybe school it’s all entertainment. Beneficial budget/spending tracking typically broken down something like: housing, transportation, savings, life (food, clothing, entertainment, etc).
