When New Jersey hosted the Super Bowl, the NFL essentially hermetically sealed the state, so that every dollar of revenue generated was spent in New York.

You just watched a graph of the racial diversity of several companies. Dude you're that ignorant 😂

Thank you. It’s all from self-reported EEO-1 data made public by each company. The raw data and links to their source are here: https://www.diversify.fyi

Being "post racial" ignores the inequalities and repercussions from centuries of legally enforced racial discrimination.

Not a data expert, but why are the over/under connected dots? There is no correlation on the Y axis except for the fact it’s sorted by % that are white. Would be more readable without the connecting lines

The Silverdome was the shit. Never saw a game there, but lots of concerts

While 49ers are far from San Francisco, being in Santa Clara puts them in the heart of the bay area and overall closer to a lot more people than they otherwise would be in downtown San Francisco. It's just the name that's wrong (but of course they don't want to change that due to the team history and brand).

How are they still called “New York” Giants/Jets when they don’t even play in that state?

In fact, the Crimean Peninsula is dominated by ethnic Russians.
Stalin banished Crimean Tatar and filled the place with 'great Russians'.

Yeah there are a few companies where the sum is > 100%. I presume at least one reason is double-counting some employees who are multi-racial. Maybe some companies just tally these statistics in different ways. I wanted to originally normalize each company's data to 100%, but forgot to.

It's not fair to compare this with the Demographics of the USA when these companies hire their Employees from a Global pool

It's called the underdog effect, dawg. Appears in competitive sports all the time.
pyriphlegeton t1_j5i5wv8 wrote
Despite the efforts of Russia to change that.
Starve minorities or foreigners, then export ethnic russians into those territories. There you go, Mother Russia just expanded. Sort of what they're doing in eastern Ukraine - but there they're rather directly killing and kidnapping.
Look up "Holodomor" for a fun read.
