Doesn't the groundhog need to witness the shadow?
If the groundhog is dead and unable to witness, does that mean spring will always be early?

Tiktok even starts showing reminders to take a break from the app, I've never seen anything like that on Facebook, or Youtube.

I have 66 at the moment but I think there are a few that I am missing. Basically, I am adding groundhogs based on a couple years of predictions (some of them just do it once and then bail), and after this year I think there will be a few more.

Thanks!
Do you mean average predictions for the year or do you mean the average weather?

You know how when you check the temp it says "feels like" a lower temp? Being at ground level changes that so the elevation makes it more unbiased because humidity and wind

It should be noted i went pretty much all in: No more than 1500 calories/day and a 10km walk every day. My life is pretty sedentary too. Note that my calorie intake on Friday and Saturday was around the 3k mark but I compensate by having two 600 calorie days a week.
Oh, and i drink two litres of water a day.

I realized while making this that these are exactly the groundhogs that need your support. All the prestige superstar groundhogs are sucking up all the media attention, while all the folksy groundhog startups are struggling to be noticed.
This Groundhog Day, support your local guy in a suit who makes everyone pancakes.

Hardly. Our winter temperatures have been well above normal. Where I am we'll have a couple days of cold and then temps will hit 50F next week.
Winters have been steadily going the way dodo here in New England.
