Thank you for posting a perfect example of the opposite of what should be posted here. It's helpful for other users to have an example of ugly data visualizations.

Seriously, you knew how many pieces it would have and somehow still decided a donut chart was a good idea.

Then you created the visualization and saw how difficult it was to make sense of with that many pieces and still decided it should be posted to r/dataisbeautiful.

These types of charts tend to be more readable when using a moving average for daily data. A 7-day trailing MA smooths out the spikes and dips from day of week effects, though does mask specific events like holidays. Ultimately applying a MA makes them much more readable and easier to observe actual longer term trends.

It could be any of those depending on the nature of the work each individual is doing. Sales people salary going into S&M, general corporate type workers in G&A, and engineering costs into R&D as an example.

Also, service workers might even come out before the operating profit line under cost of revenue.
