I think it is important to frame it as not lowering your standards but having realistic standards. Monogamy is dependent on assortative mating which is simply mating with someone at the same level of attraction.

FYI: Richter scale hasn't been used in decades. It is now just "magnitude".

This thread has been instructive to me on the lack of general math literacy....
I thought everyone graduated high school with an understanding of how logarithms work.

I was going to ask, it made no sense to me either.
I would have seen it maybe in a country with a sizable french speaking population but Hungary seemed weird.

Has Turkey helped Ukraine that much? I don't think so. Maybe that's Allah's punishment

Being in a union is not the only way to achieve workplace justice. Many countries have quite strong and equitable employment law such as Australia.

How can I unionize my job? We all get so screwed. I know for a fact if we organized and negotiated better working conditions and pay as a group we’d be successful.

Yes there is an Air Force base Turkey helping with aid and we have an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean helping out.

I don't remember the German version being as much Euro Dance as it is lol.But I still like it the best.
The French version sounds like sitcom intro

The need is there because you drive gasoline powered cars (about a third of global gasoline demand is in the US). With that car fleet in place, your only pick is between oil or ethanol...

Beautiful. Even Eriogonum (wild buckwheat), which was fun to read about, is beautiful in itself.

I have data on an Excel file that has upstream and downstream content (data is in 3 columns left column has upstream name, 2nd column has current location and 3rd column has downstream location) that I'm hoping can be read and can be visualized to show the relationships (paths). I'm wondering if there are a few and very easy (no code) options for viewing the data (can be inactive or not) as a relationship map. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Keep in mind that the richter scale is logarithmic, so the 7.8 magnitude earthquake was about 4000 times stronger than the the common ~4.2 magnitude earthquakes
