Interesting…would be strange if EP-Ohio happened to be the US’s largest chicken/egg producer and we needed a way to….you know…forcibly deter consumption en mass for awhile or ‘start fresh’

Are the returns stationary on this timeframe? When dealing with time series, especially non stationary ones, you should really be looking at their first (and potentially higher) order differences when computing correlations or R^2.

We all can learn from this. I’ve tried to keep my social media to only positive topics but dam politics always come up. I’ll follow those two subs. Thanks for suggestion.

Sure but if you're only viewing sad/bad news from selected subreddits then it's easy to conflate that with the normal or assume it's happening more often and it could just be a rare select one off.
Shouldn't stick your head in the sand but I wish the amount of good/bad news is proportional to what is happening in the real world but sensationalism gets more clicks which also means more hot/top threads.

I don't know what you're smoking, and I don't want it.
AI is helping me improve my productivity manyfolds, and through that, I was able to increase my income. I don't share your sentiment. I think AI will lower the barrier to entry for success to those who are self-driven enough to learn on their own.

Yeah, I've had this problem as well. Part of the issue is, I really like reading and talking about "the issues of the day" (politics, etc.). But it's hard to find an online community that meets all the requirements I'd have to feel good about engaging, like:
-
mostly respectful
-
relatively optimistic in terms of looking for solutions rather than simply venting about how terrible the world is
-
willing to listen to arguments and ideas that don't match their own
-
Not so far away from my own positions that we simply cannot communicate productively (e.g., there's only so much time I can spend arguing with even well-meaning and polite objectivists)

The news is there wont be jobs anymore, and they are immortal...do you seriously not comprehend how evil a wealthy person who never dies could get?! Its nightmare scenario.

I don't think so. Consider that the prediction comes out well in advance of the actual market change. I think the behavior of investors is driven by the prediction which sets off a self-fulfilling prophecy.
