Or maybe we're buying food for more than one person and don't necessarily deal with the same prices as OP's girlfriend? But of course being a cunt to strangers online is more fun :)

Thanks, my son and I just spent 20 minutes vaporizing everyone we know and had a blast.

Ce graphique est incroyable. Il t'as fallu un sacré courage pour tenir.
Je te souhaite un bon avenir.

But you can't see it here, the data is so disorganized that it's impossible to tell at first glance.

>If you speak one language you’re normal. Two you are bi-lingual. 5 you are polyliguist. >You don’t have to speak every one of the 7000 languages there are said to be just to be one. One guy (Mesic) apparently reported to understand 73. And another guy (Fazah) claimed 53.
"Polymath" is not a neologism. It has an already established, very specific meaning. You do not need to derive its individual components. It's very decidedly not a synonym to "person who is very very good within this very narrow subject area" (that would be an "expert") - quite the contrary! That's why "polymath of economics" or similar is a contradiction.
> Knowledge is a vast, vast domain and some people become competent or masters of one domain in a matter of several years.
Sure? But the natural conclusion from that is that it is simply no longer possible for a human to become a polymath, since it is no longer possible to keep up with the entire sea of human knowledge. Being a polymath is, at best, a 19th-century thing. Changing the meaning of "polymath" in order to be able to use the word in a contemporary context again, which is what the source article seems to be doing, seems a bit silly to me.

Yeah, I'll never understand that one. I was young and my leg started going numb, I just trusted what they told me needed to be done.

Not sure how the calculate "flight miles" I just know that I get to board early the last few years because of my "million mile flyer status".
That said, I'm really fortunate to have been everywhere I have ever dreamed of going.
Although, I must admit, I really don't like to travel any more, it's really hard on my body (time zone changes).

No, it gives no evidence. Not “not a lot of evidence”. Zero evidence. The “dip” (I wouldn’t call it that) you refer to is two, maybe 3, consecutive data points below the average. Would you call three consecutive coin flips coming up tails evidence of a biased coin? You also need to consider streakiness, warm-up time, all that good stuff. You aren’t as smart as you think you are. You completely misinterpreted that poor persons reply about the ballmer curve!

0.2% is nearly 3 times the limit for being intoxicated, which is commonly 0.08% in the US.

Yes. Decades of under building has resulted in a situation where you need family who bought decades ago or a really good job to not be homeless.

Most of New York doesn’t look like Manhattan. Therefore plenty of room for new housing.

A lot of damage was done. Some unexpected. I live in a rural area where the local restaurants used to deliver, that ended, and none of these delivery services will work out here....so no more home delivery in my area at all.
Edited to correct my comment
