Thanks for the feedback. As I stated, the source is Philips Lighting/Signify - one of the biggest lighting manufacturers in the world. Their Hue range is hugely popular and many people will be using their lights to decorate their homes for Christmas. I pondered making the title: "Relative energy cost of Philips Hue", but I thought "light colours" was more search-friendly.
How different would the results be for other brands of colour-changing RGB bulbs?

It's designed to look like a Christmas tree to be meaningful to people choosing a smart lighting theme for the Holidays. It's intended to be indicative and immediately understood by the average person scrolling through their social feed.

I haven't seen GOT myself but I love how according to viewers and ratings they built a beautiful airplane and then flew it right into a mountain wall.

I think non book readers still had the feeling that the plot and character arcs were well thought through. They thought it was all leading to masterful conclusion.
Then S8 lifted the veil

That still doesn’t mean the graph is bad. I see this kind of thinking in this subreddit all the time and it’s killing me inside. If you were to write an article about the changes that occurred this year in renewable, this graph could easily be there mixed in with multiple others as well. You’d have one that was just raw numbers by wattage and maybe a few breakdowns by type of energy. There’s nothing misleading about this graph. It says it’s relative and that’s what it delivered.

My point is, taken in isolation this data can be very misleading. If Luxembourg previously only had 1% of their energy from renewable sources and increased to 1.7% (70% increase), they would have the same place on the chart, but who would give them kudos for 98.3% non-renewable energy?

I've made this as its the world cup at the moment -there are plenty of people who are watching the tournament!

It is true. Still, there are the top 10 and the increases are in percentage points. So even if you start from 0, going to 70% (like Luxembourg) is impressive.

I have the same surprise for S6. I feel like I was already getting whiplash from the plot acceleration, bored of Dany's character and sick of the "we are vErY rEaLiStIc also Jon Snow survived a solo charge towards thousands of archers without a scratch"
I think there was a lot of wanting to see it to the end, so being willing to look at and enjoy the good parts. Also, I think a lot of what people enjoyed (specific characters' development, great, grand battle scenes, dragons!, nudity :P) was still there.

Wouldn’t this be more meaningful as a scatter plot so you could compare cost per watt?
Alternative-Sea-6238 t1_iz92nxj wrote
Thing is, if the base number is small, it is a heck of a lot easier to achieve a significant increase to a less small number, than to start with a big number and achieve a small increase.

Does that give me any meaningful context? While I'm sure some of these guys are big names in popular soccer leagues, I doubt anyone is familiar with every soccer league globally and can put most of these names into a meaningful context.

Oh man, so many stories turn to dust in s8. The entire plot of GOT was based on fucking John Snow and how other died to protect his indentity and did absolutely nothing. Also the death of Cercei, it was like: how to kill her in 1 minutes without thinking of anything? And boom
Also how it ended with John on the north wall. This guy killed my queen, i’m gonna spend the rest of my life trying to kill him. His brother: don’t worry we’ll take care of him. Oh ok, then i’m gonna leave and go to that island where i’m gonna die because the fucking writers forgot what they wrote 2 seasons ago.

I think that makes Phoenix interesting, not the whole image meaningful.
The native food really drowns out information about other food, especially in Asia with the huge blue circles covering everything else.
