If it were extrapolated to the total value of a company then Saudi Aramco would be ridiculous

There was insane growth from Nov 2021 to ~August 2022, and from August to November 2022 we have had some degree of decline, but not much in comparison. So, i'm unsurprised by the sea of red/orange/yellow here.

🔥 My comment, if that’s what you’re referring to, was regarding people having difficulty understanding the chart due to its questionable execution…

you are right it should be square! Probably messes up the perception that it's not. The sizes are the average of the two countries' births per 1000 for each, so it's equally representing the relative commonness of the name in two (unequally size) populations.

They're pretty cheap nowadays. Members of the UK House of Lords don't even get a salary, just a £166/day attendance allowance and you only need 10 of them, which is like $2030...

Why do people count each verse as incremental to the last one? It's just a list that is getting expanded. You don't make each verse additive.

No. Not buying it. There's such a thing as substantive incompatibility in data and the author is always responsible for that. The responses above about rrends in reporting crime and what falls into property and violent crime buckets are spot on.

Reply to Where Canadians Live. It’s incredible to see that the population is so concentrated in a country so big. by Wastheretoday
There’s a crappy little town in that portion called Drumbo. Don’t ever go there. The rest of Canada is lovely and almost everyone I’ve met all over Canada throughout dozens of visits in my lifetime has been great. But not in Drumbo. All my homies hate Drumbo.
