Reply to Football betting experiment: what if I consistently bet against the odds, on the least likely match outcome? This is the English Premier League. What happened in 2019/20? I really like the idea of what you have been doing but the presentation of the date hurts my eyes. Too many lines!!

The latter is because of the former.

Not OP, but what would be a more interesting World Cup related visualization you would have liked to see?

I like the idea, but could do one that uses the football ELO rankings? They tend to be more accurate less random then Fifa's official ones

They are indeed equally spaced. Not doing so would make the charts misleading

In the last 130 years it has gotten warmer in the United Kingdom. It was colder there when they had colonies.

Will you confirm that the y axis scale for all charts is equally spaced? The 200 vs 100 increments make it unclear from a glance.

Reply to [OC] I reached my reading objective for 2022 before the end of year, so I did a visualization of my reading stats by MrMelodica
Wow and I couldn't even keep my goal of 26 books (1 book per 2 week on average) You read about 70 pages a day, that's 2 hours per day. Do you work full time? If yes, how do you find motivation and time to read that much? I would need to make big sacrifices in my free time to achieve that.

Not sure if the sequence on the groups phase means something, but if not I would adjust so the two ousted were in the middle so the winners always grow from the same base in the next phases.

China will dominate in renewable energy development over the next five years, increasing capacity by more than the US and Europe combined. It also shows that solar and wind will be the main drivers.
