The power outage isn't tied to inflation (through the price is tied to inflation, as electricity price is tied to gas price). It's something only happening in France.
It's a combination of bad luck (we need to do some emergency repair in a few reactors), Covid quarantine preventing the routine repairs the last few years, the cold weather greatly increasing our energy consumption (a large chunk of the french heating is electric), and lack of investment in our nuclear capacity since... around 1997 I think.

Google "Why is immigration good for Canada?"
There you will find the information you seek and may form your own opinion.

US population has only increased by roughly 50% so it has been going up quicker than population growth.

Are the average carbon prices of the national and supranational pricing schemes counted separately? How would it be possible that Spain has such a small share of the emissions covered by the EU carbon trading scheme?

That is seriously impressive. I found the paper where that time series is introduced and it sounds like they had to do a lot of work to build it because no individual station has reported over that whole time period.

The shit I brought up is happening everywhere. All of my examples are things that affect everyone.
You forgot to mention that the GDP of CA is greater than the combined economic output of NV, MT, UT, ID, ND, SD & NM.
Also, CA is one of the only states where most of the cities never have deadly weather.
Fox News is trying really hard to make CA seem scary, but it really isn't. Sure they have their problems, but at least they are trying to do something about it. CA spending "the most money" on social programs (BS unless expressed on a per GDP basis) is not the own you think it is.

definitely an important player in the interim.
it is very political... but, from what I've heard at least in the US, nuclear facilities have encountered so much pushback about nuclear waste storage that they've pretty much given up and now store and manage it all on site. 🤷 and isn't that what we wanted all along...

That's just a made-up strawman. You can criticise people even if they are black/transgender/etc, noone is preventing that, look at how Herschel Walker lost in Georgia despite being black, perhaps had something to do with being a terrible candidate regardless of skin colour.
