The idea you’re talking about is true and accurate, for a fully randomly shuffled deck of cards.
A newly opened (and therefore ordered) deck that has only been riffled a few times is not fully random.

Nowadays it's thought that these methods are ineffective, but there is a need for pointe shoes to mold precisely to the feet of each individual dancer. It has until now been prohibitively expensive to custom-manufacture shoes for each individual dancer (except for major stars), so instead they manufacture shoes in such a way that a dancer can break them in by doing special exercises that not only strengthen the feet and legs, but also bring the shoe into shape. The older methods of "mutilating" pointe shoes were thought to be a shortcut for this.

Nowadays, some companies have been experimenting with 3D-printing pointe shoes, which would allow for a very close custom fit. This shows some promise.

I'm not a zoologist so cannot give an expert opinion but I have heard that since flying in formation means that each bird is following in the wake of the bird in front of them they may also make adjustments to get the best aerodynamic advantage.

With big birds (e.g geese) this will mean they tend to keep on the same plane as the wings of the other bird thus resulting in a flat 2D formation.

With small birds (e.g. swifts) the nature of the aerodynamics mean that this is not necessary and so they will follow another bird at any angle within the 360 x 360 hemisphere in front of them. This would result in the more three dimensional formations you see with swifts.

I don't like coffee.

It doesn't matter what you add to it. I won't like it. I've -- accidentally -- had some of the insanely sugary coffee shop coffees and it's one of those "I could get used to this if I really, really forced myself" kind of things, but that's the best you can get. Same for coffee ice cream. Gross.

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve, basically.

this is such a difficult question to answer. some research suggest that it’s possible for permanent damage to be made from depression, while other’s suggest it is not permanent. this differs from mania, the opposite of depression, where we know that permanent damage is made with each manic episode

WD40 is not a contact cleaner.

Diagnosing a problem at a shop is usually at minimum 1hr. Currently the shop rates are about $150/h

Book time on replacing the switch would vary from each make and model. But I would expect it to be no less then 1.0h

Then to take apart the switch, inspect what is wrong. Repair the corrosion. (Which is more then just spraying “wd40”). Test the switch. Verify the repair. Reassemble. Document the repair. I would expect 1.5-2.0 hours.

So your probably just about 4 hours, which is $600 plus taxes. With no one covering any warranty.

There is no way a licensed tech is doing that, if they can just replace the assembly. And have the repair covered for parts and labour.

>Each battery is different, but each of the small batteries I would say the average is something like a Capri Sun pouch, some are bigger, some are smaller. Also, they are pouches, with layered cathode and anode layers (negative/positive), with separator layers between and an electrolyte slurry inside.

Not in Tesla's, they just stack a bunch of A cell, B cell or D cell sized LiIon batteries in the box.

It could theoretically be done, but we have evolutionary evolved using sleep as we know it as a recovery strategy. It has shown to be an advantage.

Birds for example also have sleep, but they evolved in a way that only one half of the brain sleeps at any time because that allows them to keep flying while recovering which turned out to be an advantage.
