Plus, electricity is used to genetically modify bacteria via electroporation. Jolting bacterial cell walls will open their pores and allow plasmids to entrr the cell. In nature, plasmids can confer various resistance or virulence genes. So, using electricity might even promote new traits and mutations.

You’re gonna be downvoted to oblivion for raising this issue but you are 100% correct in the biases of machine learning. We will only ever hear about the biases the mainstream is interested in though (e.g. face scanners not triggering on people with dark skin), and they will intentionally ignore anything that furthers their perceived reality.

Because electricity kills you either by stopping your heart or burning you to death...it would take a ridiculous amount of energy to thermally kill the microbes, and they don't have a heart or circulatory system so that's out the window...

If you do it long enough then the water gets hot and boils and everything dies
It makes poison tho

You forgot to add in the censorship , and ideological parameters.
Does it just have a database of things it has to conform to / things it’s supposed to ignore?
ie most historical texts and all biology textbooks up to year x would tell you that men cannot get pregnant or menstruate. But in 2023, wouldn’t chatgpt tell you a man can menstruate and get pregnant?
And how does it deal with input data known to be false / lies?
Would it tell you George santos is a Jew”ish” black Hispanic male who’s family avoided the holocaust via being born as white Christians in South America?

The problem with that approach is losing control, and then there's nothing left to do. I know that approach is the one that you want, but you'd better take my direction.

The only good microorganism is a dead microorgamism. Now lets make these microorgamisms good!

If you take carbon and oxygen, burn them to produce CO2, any process you use to get back carbon and oxygen is by definition going to take as much or more energy then you got from burning it.
Chemical bonds all have a certain energy associated with forming and destroying them that must be paid (or released)

That's why you should still wash your hands even after using hand sanitizer. The dead bodies of the bacteria become food for the next generation

I just want to put a slight spin on things.
You cant kill small organisms (even some insects) in a microwave because the actual microwaves have a long enough wavelength that it doesn't produce a high enough gradient to heat their tiny bodies up.
The wave length is longer than the insects body so it doesn't do anything.

I don’t really understand jokes like these. It’s just an attempt from people to stay current.

They can mean the same thing
Like keeping a daily log of your events.
But journal can be more broad... Like writing a journal of scientific research. It didn't necessarily need to be daily or related to dates or even in chronological order. But it usually is about one subject or concept.
Like someone who loves reading might keep a journal of summaries of the books they've read.
While diary usually means some sort of record over time. Diary comes from the Latin word for days. A journal can be this too but it can be so much more.

Killing the organisms in water by any means doesn't make it safe to drink. They dead corpses and other waste from them is still in the water and is just as dangerous to consume. That is why water needs to be actively filtered to be clean.
