God, no. I like drinking it because it has like no taste and I only have to use a little.

From what I read, acetone can be dried by baking Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate?) to dry it and then adding acetone. I think then it's supposed to be frozen and the acetone can be poured off the top. I was thinking of trying it with ethanol, but using a natural salt that forms a hydrate and (hopefully) isn't a laxative, not that it should dissolve.

Imagine getting to a solution is a pathway and you walk along it to find a solution, you find a tree in the path there is no way to get to the other side you could give up and say it is not possible to get to the solution but that is not true you could leave the path and walk around or climb over.

Imaginary numbers give you a way to leave the real numbers and find a solution. The solution is not always imaginary just because you used them to get it.

Imaginary is a bad name because they are actually numbers and the real numbers are just a subset of them.

We use imaginary numbers a lot in engineering, it would be impossible for modern control systems and power networks to work without them.

My bicep tendon frayed and the doctor cut the bad part off and anchored it at a slightly lower point than it had been. My hamstring ruptured and the doctor stretched it then anchored it at the original point. I cannot recommend either of these surgeries

Because the cross-section of the urethra is different.

Women don't have a penis, so it's ok if the pee kinda sprays instead of forming a stream. The cross section of a woman's urethra is mostly smooth, relatively simple.

To facilitate the formation of a stream for a man's urine, the cross section of the urethra is somewhat "rifled". The urethra being like that, makes the flow of urine more like an organized stream, to mostly avoid unwanted spraying.

There's probably some anatomy textbook out there with better diagrams or images, but I found this https://vmicro.iusm.iu.edu/hs_vm/docs/lab11_6.htm

Math, like every logic system, must have axioms. These are statements that are true only because they are stated to be true, not because they can be shown to be true.

The imaginary unit is axiomatic. There is nothing special about axioms. I think people are just thrown off by the unrelated associations people have with the term "imaginary" and how/when it is taught in school.

In this case, imaginary numbers don't just lead to interesting structures and algebras, they are exceedingly useful in physics and might even be required.

I smashed my finger real bad, to the point that my tendon was severed completely. The doctor came over, took a look and decided to stitch it back together and told me if it doesn’t work in a couple weeks to come back. Thankfully it worked but it does ache in the cold

I've had three tendons reattached after craft knife accident. (All at the same time, I'm not that clumsy.) They pull the ends together and sew with dissolving thread or staple like any other tissue, then close over the top. I'm told this is significantly easier if the tendon is cleanly severed with a sharp knife than if it snapped from over stressing, because they don't have to worry about the stitches pulling out through weak points in an uneven tear, or about lining the ends up just so.

A friend has had laparoscopic surgery on a tendon to remove a frayed edge that was rubbing against other tissue and causing pain. The surgeon cut two tiny holes, put a mini camera in one and a sharp snipper in the other, and snipped away the frayed part.

Another reason is taxes. Taxes on ethanol are quite high. However taxes on flavorings are a lot lower or not existent. Many flavorings only dissolve in ethanol so they use an ethanol carrier. (I was once told that Red Bull is .35% alcohol from the flavorings)

So when you’re making a really cheap alcohol you’ll add a lot of “flavorless” flavorings that use ethanol carriers. The total alc % doesn’t change, it’s still 35 or 40% or whatever, but a portion is from non taxable flavor. The more you add, the less taxes and the cheaper that plastic bottle of Vlad The Impailer Vodka direct from St Petersburg (Florida) can be. Those flavors even though they aren’t meant to, change flavor and also massively increase hangovers.
