It’s been awhile for me, not a control engineer but did my studies in mechanical engineering. So can’t speak for what you use in your day to day, but from what I remember controls (the math behind it) is tied with laplus transformation and the whole 1/t. Basically from those classes for feedback controls the zeros in laplus will say how it behaves in real life. And one way to avoid real zeros is forcing imaginary ones.

Believe what you like . . . I've done taste tests with Prince Igor and Grey Goose, and people would consistently pick Igor as often as Goose.

The average person just doesn't have a developed enough palate to be that discerning. Hell, I only took it seriously for about 7 years, and I know I would still slip up. There are a couple of my "regular" brands that I can pick out, but that's it. If you poured two shots of random brands, 1 premium, 1 well stock, I would not be surprised to guess wrong between them.

This happened to me on a random day in highschool. I didn’t know what the hell was going on so I’m drinking Gatorade thinking it’s going to help but of course that was only exacerbating things. Mom knew right away what was up and sure enough I went and checked on grandmas meter and I was at 550. The meter maxes out at 550 so I don’t really know exactly how high it was.

MYTHBUSTERS did this to test the theory - they claimed it was "Busted" because filtration doesn't make bottom-shelf vodka taste as good as top-shelf, but filtering it five times through a Brita/Pur type filter does make it taste better to both a vodka "expert" and to Jamie Hyneman. (Kari Byron picked the unfiltered bottom-shelf "control" as second-best and top-shelf as worst, to everyone's amusement!)

Sorry for the crappy copy, but since Discovery Channel now owns WB they're charging for copies of MYTHBUSTERS....

This is also why you are highly advised to have water or a light drink with meals. You need a lot of water to digest food, and lack of water is a leading cause of mild indigestion aka not feeling well after eating.

Also soup. Almost all people through history ate some form of soup for most of their meals. Not only does soup have lots of water, it has all the nutrients "lost" to other cooking methods. It's why broth is so often good for you. So soup up and be sure to drink the broth.
