Are you arguing that more constricting parameters doesn't equate to a stricter definition?

I know it's a typo and I'm not at all making fun of you...but 'thug boats' is killing me. That's a hysterical mental image. Like they hang around in packs and bully other boats. "oh did your mom paint your bow white, Myron? Tell her we love her.";)

I’ve heard they are actually AAAA batteries which are slightly shorter.

What does that even mean? A triangle is just a number?! Still begging the question what drug you are on.

Correct it to what? I gave you the correct ratio!
> Like, go look at a piano
Read up on musical theory and don't act the way you do if you have no idea what you are talking about...
> Everything else stands
Like... all the other things I debunked, such as you seriously claiming that human DNA is only 3.4 nanometers long (and while so, by your own claim, not even twice as long as wide!), when in reality it is centimeters per strand and ~3 meters total, per cell?

There is no “stricter” definition. That’s your problem. You are trying to be pedantic about something that doesn’t apply.

Fair.
That is an artifact of the fact that our number system is completely made up. The natural aspect of the ratio is what is real, and the way we apply numerical concepts to it isn’t perfect. It’s just close enough that we can use mathematics to describe the rules of the universe to a precision far greater than our intuition.

Also adding to this, Flumazenil is basically the Narcan of benzos, and can reverse benzo overdose. We basically never use it because it can easily send someone into status epilepticus whilst simultaneously rendering the first-line treatment of status epilepticus (benzos) completely ineffective.

I would argue that the only thing making anything sacred is the beliefs of the person or people who believe in that thing.
The Bible or the Quran are only “sacred” because people say so.
I’m with Pythagoras on this one.

Anger is a masking emotion? I mean, usually our feelings are hurt/our ego is damaged, and the outrage and feeling of being attacked triggers an anger response? This is the mechanism they taught us in conflict resolution classes and it works for those situations. I'm not sure how medically/psychologically accurate it is, which is why I ask.

The earth/moon thing is a little off, but not incorrect. The right triangle you'd create based on their radiuses is Phi. If you knew as much as you'd like to think, you could have corrected that. Everything else stands and your first sentence is just you projecting. Like, go look at a piano, wise guy... Missing the forest for the trees

Take a deep breath, hold it in, and try to swallow five times in a row before exhaling. If you can, just up the number to like 6 or 7. You can experience it right now if you want

You’re using the wrong math idea. It’s not 3+3=7, it’s 3*3=9

You are not using “the strictest definition”. You are using an arbitrarily chosen definition to justify your argument while ignoring other more common and equally valid definitions.

All living things have instinct that they are born with. Even supposedly "helpless" creatures like human babies. Yes, you need to do a lot to take care of a newborn baby, but a newborn is born with certain instincts that allow it to survive. For instance, if you put a nipple (or a bottle) in a newborn's mouth, it will instinctively suck on it. If newborns didn't have that instinct, they wouldn't be able to eat.

I often wonder how I am alive.

you see it in nature especially plants, it's often an efficient simple way to space things like thorns and petals or model the growth of branches, seeds, segements etc so it occurs.

Reply to ELI5: What actually happens when you call your representatives? by glitterismyantidrug_
Basically nothing of value to anyone.
You call in and if you get through you talk to a staffer or intern making shit money who doesn’t care they just have to be there to answer phones and emails.
They are in theory supposed to take note of it and inform the proper people but it’s just a placebo for the people calling in. Nothing happens.
McDonalds cares more that a customer would call and complain than your rep.
Also fun stuff a lot of calls and e-mails are generally from the same people over and over and over. So they know who these people are and hate them. literally the same People over and over. Also they get plenty of true crazies who call regularly asking why the rep won’t do things about aliens taking over their brain. Not kidding at all. Crazy people call a lot. A lot.
“Regular” people don’t really call or write. It’s a unique crowd and they do it over and over. It has no value except an intern having to deal with it.
