If cost of power (is fuel vs grid electricity) is the main factor, then aerodynamics are more important on a gas/diesel vehicle--especially at highway speeds where power consumption shifts towards air resistance induced by higher speeds vs the greater weight of EVs. If range is the major consideration, then electric.
Presumably, as EVs typically have a "skateboard" design with a layer of batteries near the base, it would be easier to design the front of a BEV for greater aerodynamics.

I feel like 99% of food came about by something random happening and then someone daring someone else to try it.

He's saying the individuals present may be racists in their own right, but as an organization the freemasons do not hold racist views.
There's no revision there, if it isn't in their tenets it isn't in their tenets.
If they particular cluster of douches in NC were racists, they were racists

Reply to comment by corey_m_snow in Eli5 why do pregnancy testers not have a yes or no indication on the screen instead of the symbols and then matching them? by googleimages69420
I'm pretty sure the digital ones work exactly the same way, and use a sensor to look at the stripe to see if it changed and just print on the screen the result of the strip.

as other have said, probably accidentally at 1st. old cheese, you could toss milk in to a sheep stomach to transport/hold it. the enzymes caused it to curdle and the motion help mix it up and solidify it.

Reply to Eli5: How is it possible for someone to speak English, but not be able to read or write it ? by Aboutfun
ever met a small child under age five? they can usually speak, but haven't learned to read and write yet.
or a blind person?
illiteracy exists for many reasons.
if you moved to a foreign country you'd probably learn to speak before you learned to read and write, especially if the writing didn't use the alphabet. at which point you would be functionally illiterate as well.

While the online world can provide the same sense of fellowship, the membership is much less diverse than the groups mentioned. One need only look at certain sub-reddits for proof. The benefit to the community at large of these sorts of groups is what I was getting at earlier.

A brother Lodge to mine used to host an annual "Wild Game Night", as the majority were hunters and fishermen. Oh my God, the FOOD.

Also, “yes” or “no” is ambiguous. “Yes, you’re pregnant” or “Yes! You’re not pregnant.” You want “pregnant” or “not pregnant”, but you don’t want to have to do it in every language.

Freemasonry has existed LONG before the 20th century. Kiwanis was founded in 1915, during WW1, but before US involvement. Lions Club was 1917. Rotary was founded in 1905.

So, while soldiers may have sought out these groups post WW2, they certainly were not the only people joining.

Reply to comment by 86tuning in Eli5: Infinity ♾️ by [deleted]
Another perspective on infinity is the coastline problem. If u measure a coastline you have to define the resolution of the map. If it’s in inches, rather than miles or yards it will result in a MUCH greater number for the same section of coastline. If u increase the resolution to infinity, you make the measure of the coastline infinite. There is an infinity in every minute dot.

It was shameful and inexcusable. I take a small solace that my Grand Lodge (Nebraska) was the first to end that divide.
