I agree with that, not many people call it memory, unless it is a memory card or similar. It is however still a type of computer memory and OP is asking how to erase a file in memory, which is why I try to clear up that there is two types of memory. I edited the original post to clarify that primary memory or even more specifically RAM is what people usually call memory, and that secondary memory is often called storage.

But saying you are being pedantic but then saying something that is technically entirely incorrect is not being pedantic and simply ads to confusion.

For most part you could sure, in fact a lot of 3D Prints come with printed parts. But for things like the hot end, motors, logic boards, power supply, screens, gears, belts, etc. Not really. At least not right now.

There is flexible filament you could use for belts, and some printers can print metal or metal infused plastic filament. But you would need such a level of precision that it just wouldn't make sense. Other firms of manufacturing is way cheaper, easier, and faster.

For the step motors, monitors, psu, and circuit boards. idt it'll ever be possible to print those. At least not in full, there a lot of tiny components, not to mention processors that are on the nanometer scale ( 0.000001mm ).

TLDR; You can/could print a lot of parts of a 3DP on a 3DP but I don't think you could ever print a whole 3DP. There's just to many parts that need to be very precise and aren't possible to print.

I wish it were that simple. My dad only has his house in a few weeks, so unless I live on the streets there's nowhere I can go. My mum doesn't have her house yet after the nasty divorce. Besides, she's 500 miles away and I don't have a car, and my dad doesn't want to know her, and my gf has banned m from using the car to even see her. And I have zero friends so noone o stay with. My brother has no space. I'm trapped in this god awful situation. Best I can do short term is try to patch things up

Sort of?

Paraphyletic is saying "everything in this evolutionary branch except these things".

Take reptiles for example. In common usage, it excludes birds, even though birds are a subset of dinosaurs, which are a subset of reptiles.

The exclusion of birds from the reptile "group" makes it paraphyletic.

Also fun fact! The most closely related animal group to birds is actually crocodilians (crocodiles, alligators, etc)

Green, for "all good, lets go!"

At least it should be, since e-stops are usually red for "crap, stop!"

There certainly are double-meanings here, depending on one's perspective and what one defines as "good" and what is "evil". Depends on if you're the operator or the mechanic, I suppose.

I see below that your machine seems to be the opposite. Most machinery I've seen has a green "start" button and a red "stop" button. I guess they're not as standardized as traffic lights. The hard part is when you press the green button, which illuminates the red warning light, lol.

Life isn't about walking on eggshells around your partner.

You both need to establish better ways to communicate what you feel is going wrong. There should be no 'bitter arguments', if something goes wrong ensure the boundaries for how you communicate that to each other are clearly laid out.

That conversation needs to happen when you're both clear of mind and calm.

Consumer 3D printers print shitty plastics. If you ever want a strong plastic, or god forbid a metal piece, or GASP silicon, you're out of luck.

No you can't print a 3D printer. And never will be able to. All they can print is 100% shitty plastic. 50s tech basically. As soon as you encounter metal or worse you need a silicon chip, that's it. You go outside.
