The gain is people do business with you versus another bank.

>Would be easier for everyone.
Many small employers disagree. They believe that writing a few cheques each week is actually easier than having to deal with online payments.

So that no forms of life are brought to the new location which may complicate the search for life on the new planet.

Depends on whether or not the ASIC is turing complete. If it isn't, then there are some operations you wouldn't be able to run on it.

You know that not everyone banks online, right?
Right?

>couldn't you just have a bank manager Make a quick phone call to see if she even has $100,000 in her account?
That would not be a "quick phone call", and you would need to make large numbers of such calls each and every day.

Prior to overdraft "reform". I deposited a check then went shopping a few weeks later with no issues. The next Monday I stop to grab a coffee and my debit card declined. I ran to the ATM only to find that I had -$700 in my account. The check had bounced, leaving all those previously ok transactions to suddenly incur a $35 overdraft fee.

The same for trips to Mars. If we have an experiment that tries to detect life on anybody we do not what contamination from the earth can give a false positive.

One way to look at it: humans pretty much always form a social group. All over the world, people gather together for the common good: for mutual defense, to support people with specialized skills (you wouldn't want to waste a cook's time with farming, and vice-versa).
Having lgbtq+ people in your family is a create way to have additional adults (who can do lots of things) without the burden of additional children. Hence, any group that welcomes their lgbtq+ family will be a stronger group.

Energy can't be caught because it's not a physical thing. It's a measure of the amount of work something can do, how much impact on its surroundings something can have. And that something doesn't have to be matter. The energy of forces (their fields) can bend space-time to generate gravity just like mass does.
It's not a definition or anything, but I like to think of energy as the amount of "capacity to exist" in the universe.
As for the particle-wave duality... It's more a consequence of is thinking there IS a duality. Everything in the universe has "particle" properties like momentum or spin and everything can have wave behaviours like interference. Literally anything. Light has momentum. It can exert pressure. Even mechanical waves (sound) can have particle properties assigned to them (although they're called quasi-particles, because they're not real particles, like an electron). Particles can interfere.
In short, there's no such thing as a "pure" particle or wave, so there's not really any "duality". It's just that for certain interactions, particle-like properties are what we test for, while in others it's wavelike properties. But the point is that WE are selecting this.
It's like a cylinder. It can be a rectangle from one angle. It can be a circle from another. But it's not one OR the other. It's only the fault of how we choose to view it.

American homes receive two 120v feeds making a total of 240v..
You do not charge an EV with 120v at home. That’s insane. 240v is the trickle charge which is the only real way to charge an EV without permanent damage to the battery.

It's important if the spaceship is going to another planet or anything else that could possibly sustain life of any kind (e.g., Jupiter's moon Europa). This is because we want to make sure we're not dumping some of our own life forms on that celestial body.

Well you could just built in the charger into the car
And just pull out the wire to plug into an outlet like those irons with retractable cords
But now your stuck with one type of outlet
You have 120v which is the one you plug in your phone to charge
Then you have the 240v that dryers plug in
Then you got the various different charging standards at charge stations that do the fast charging in different way
Like CCS and CHAdemo and of course Tesla
So for the sake of portability, modularity, and cost
We keep the charging on the outside

Undocumented workers rarely have bank accounts so being paid by check and then getting it cashed at a place that cashes checks, and charges a fee, is common.

Every object can act as an particle or wave. The higher the particle (mass) the lower the waves get. Same way around.
Probably light has the perfect balance between particle and wave so it can be shown as both. (I’m not a scientist, just looked it up real quick.)
….. It depends on how you experiment with light. You can experiment with an solution that says light acts as particle or get experiments that say light acts a wave. Don’t really know how to explain in detail in the English language as a non-native.
If you can break down the explanation of the link below maybe you can help your student find an answer.

I understand having a wealthy client, but how do they know she's wealthy, All they have was a brand new bank account and a check for $100,000. For that amount of money couldn't you just have a bank manager Make a quick phone call to see if she even has $100,000 in her account? If shes kiting then the other bank will tell them that she has a balance that hasn't cleared yet.

Gays aren't infertile, and straight couples can produce gay children.
Natural Selection reinforced it, that's why it exists.

That sounds like a problem with the banking system that they can't do that. They don't keep $50,000 in their drawer, while they're going to check out 5 stacks and the bank manager is going to have to authorize that anyways. You won't have to do that A lot of times it would only be under the circumstances where someone is coming in to the bank who has a relatively new account, whose first or second deposit is $100,000 check.
