Yeah - I saw a recipe on italiasquisita for pannetone. I thought I'd watch it, as I'd really love some pannetone, and I can't get it here. Yeah, nah. Not a snowball in hell's chance.

The one and only time I’ve had this was when our elderly widowed neighbor came by and dropped off a slice for my dad after he helped to clear her flooded driveway. It had apricot compote instead of blueberries and the bite I got I remember to this day.

It was delicious! I made the strawberry sauce to go with it, and the sugar was such a great touch.
Thank you so, so much for the recommendation - it was divine!

I pan-fried the fish with a simple chilli, salt, pepper, garlic powder and lemon marinade. Very simple and quick (less than 1 hour start to finish including marinating the fish for about 30 mins).
