Like the other commenter said, save it until you have a better pic. Like I said I’m sure it tasted great but people eat with their eyes first. It’s why good restaurants put so much effort into playing their dishes.

Then probably save the post for next time when you can post a good picture of it :)

Why do people insist on posting terrible pictures of food that probably tasted awesome?

Oh, you don't boil it in the evaporated milk! Sorry, I should've been clearer. You brew the tea in boiling hot water and then add the evaporated milk. The amount of evaporated milk you add is up to you.

Hmm by brewing it in evaporated milk, do you mean you heat the evaporated milk and you steep the tea leaves straight into that?

It's actually not too complicated. You brew some black tea (usually Ceylon or a mix of black tea types) mix in some evaporated milk, and you can add sugar optionally. It should taste creamy and full-bodied.

How’d you make the tea?

It’s a basic pastry cream in a no-bake (Biscoff) cookie crust. The fruit keeps the surface of the pastry cream from drying and forming a skin. If your phone doesn’t have a google, I’ll be happy to type out the details. 🤓
