Looks amazing but where do you slice it? Middle of whipped cream? Right next to a cookie? Middle of cookie?

Salted pork cuts fat, different from regular bacon.

How did you prop it up? Are the skewers stabbed into the potatoes?

Well it could be if you used margherita sauce to make the pizza. Is this the case?

For something like this, can’t go wrong with some smoked paprika, onion and garlic powders

This just might have to be my NFL playoff meal this weekend. I love chicken thighs. A new way to use them is always welcome in my house.

Thanks! I sure am. A bunch of wood ducks fly through public land near me, and it's and absolute blast. Had them coming in and even landing with my decoys! Dropped one beautiful drake off at the taxidermist over the weekend. Definitely going to be a regular at duck season going forward!

I think I'm gonna make this tonight.
What kind of spices would you recommend?

Hell yea congrats!! Im sure your hooked..I know I was after my first time ducking a few years ago! I saw a recipe for duck with an apple chutney recently..your dish is kind of a deconstructed version of that.

You can do this. You can adjust the temperature. Or you can cover with chicken skin smeared with mayonnaise - some people like crispy skin.

Yes. Put 3-4 slices of potatoes (or onions) down and stick skewers in them.
