Tallow adds the fat to the meal and I let the peppers sauté in it for 30 mins, add chicken until it’s cooked, Frank heat then sear the chicken.

I use to go to a Vietnamese restaurant that made a Phò with this stew as a base and it as fantastic specially on a cold winter day.

Yeah it has a similar recipe for the sauce and then you add in beef or lamb meatballs spiced with paprika, garlic, onion, parsley, cilantro, red pepper, turmeric, and cinnamon

Yours looks fantastic (I said “god it’s so rich” aloud), and the tendons add so much. This dish was included in my first time eating Vietnamese food, after moving to Oakland

Thank you!! Me too it’s really good. I’ll post up next time I make pineapple roast chicken. I core the pineapple and roast the whole chicken on the core. Blend the pineapple, onion, garlic, spices etc and pour it over the bird and marinate it overnight.
