This is what killed my younger siblings Elementary school Principle in the 90’s.
Driving down a Souther California Freeway, he was behind a dump truck, one of these came rocketing through his windshield. Killed him instantly.

They use them more as a blanket than a coat. They throw them on over their pads when they are on the sideline. A lot them are very big to account for the players pads, but this one is kind of comically huge.
