because they can with M chip. The ARM chips are significantly more efficient with memory over Intel chips. Its still stupid, but you would be surprised at how fictional 8 gigs is with a M1 vs 8 gigs with a intel chip.

To be fair with it though, even base model laptops from Dell and HP are still rolling with 8 gigs or even less.

Anywhere I went (Totals to France, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Cyprus and where I live, Turkey) it was people using stuff like Mi Boxes, Bravia or Philips TVs with preloaded Google TV or TVs with Amazon Fire OS. Although it is obvious that the usage count is not 0, from what I have seen, it is not widespread, although I can guess that there obviously are groups like you lot who use it.

Yeah they really did. I have the release M1 and I have no reason to upgrade. It's nice that Ryujinx runs natively now and they're becoming really potent switch emulators but other than that I don't do anything that warrants a more powerful macbook yet.

Obviously if you're in the market for a laptop already this is probably nice for you but there's no reason to upgrade from M1 to M2 for most people.

A core i9-13900K is going to set you back $600 + tax. A midrange graphics card is about $300. RAM is probably another $75 or so. That leaves us about $300 for Windows, storage, and a tiny motherboard. You know that motherboard is going to eat up more than the remainder. It's an interesting exercise.
