Yes, it charges with a cradle via contact pins.
It is water resistant (50m), it's okay to shower with it. I did it many times.
Unfortunately, I can't make an assessment of it's EKG function, cause I'm not a medical professional.

My Apple Watch has been doing that for a while now.

This is the first time that I've heard of this brand of watch... I was looking for an Apple-Watch-style ECG-capable watch that would actually support Android and not be a complete joke for heart monitoring features.
Can I ask, how does the watch charge? Cable? Cradle?
Do you have to take it off in the tub/shower?
This is a cool looking device.

That might be the case, but no one thinks FaceTime is remotely close to being with someone in person. It feels like you are behind a screen talking to another person inside a small screen, all of it being 2D.
The point of VR communication is that it would feel like you are face to face with the person. I would never recommend anyone who isn't rich to buy a $3000 device, but I would recommend average people to buy the mature version of this for $500 in 10 years or so.

I feel like VR is late to the lockdown party and people just aren’t interested. FaceTime is great because anyone with an iPhone can do it. I need to buy a $3k headset and my mom needs one too? Uh I’d rather just go visit in person.
I have an oculus, don’t use it (sometimes the kids do but they mostly play PlayStation or PC games). I really don’t see the killer app to make VR mainstream. I use AR on my phone once every few years to pick out furniture, but my phone seems to do a good enough job at this.
Gaming seems to be the only real use I would have for this, and I would probably go for the $599 or whatever PSVR if I wanted an upgraded oculus… which I don’t.

EKG and ecg are synonymous. One is electrocardiogram, one is electrokardiogram. Depends on how Germanic you're feeling.

Or how many people it could make not go to the ER, I went to the ER because I was having crazy heart palpitations I looked it up and started checking almost every symptom off the list of having a heart attack as it became more severe. I woke my wife up to drive me to the hospital, turned out I was fine, I was having a severe anxiety attack. Maybe something on my wrist that could help assure me that I’m okay might be a good thing, I think if I had one of these and saw that all was okay I wouldn’t have freaked out in the first place which mad me more and more panicked, mocking the symptoms more and more.

Aren't these totally different technologies? I thought ECG was for detecting arrythmia and is very very clear that it can't detect a heart attack. EKG is what they use to detect heart attacks. Lots of watches and devices have ECG functionality at this point, very few have EKG let alone approval as functioning well enough to be advertised.
At least that's my understanding from a very quick look around at watch health features come in smart watches these days.

That analogy is dumber than you are then. The steam deck is literally designed for streaming high quality graphics. It does that better than running games natively actually. So your analogy sound like “buying a fast car to go fast makes about as much sense as pickling bread”

Buying a steam deck to do game streaming makes about as much sense as buying a modern 4k TV to watch VHS tapes.
