There is literally a button to turn off the feature if you don’t like it and it will remain off until you choose to turn it on again. But you solution is “I don’t like it, so nobody should have the upturn of using it.”

Unless they are manufacturing every single chip on their boards, which they aren't, they have use pci-e.

Welcome to the world of crypto mining type setups just to play games.
They burn through connectors in mining.
Now desktop units by themselves are pulling as much as multiple GPUs used to.

Yes, but pirate streamers are easily the minority of (North American/Western European) consumers. Of course, fringe groups can do better. Hell, you can almost consider blu-ray owners a fringe group, at this point.

I don't think the companies care how they get their money but the customers want opex and not capex so everything is a subscription and nobody owns anything. It's just another accounting trick and when the IRS gets tired of this bullshit the rules will change and so will the model.

What if we watercool the whole power supply system? Connect it directly to your homes water radiators. Faster than a puny boiler too. Problem solved.

Right!?
I saw it posted somewhere on Reddit a couple years ago and have had it open on my phone since then. I still look at it fairly regularly.
Im pretty sure it's a bunch of photos stiched together like a panoramic, but it's just so cool

We’re talking about removing support for PCIe expansion and depending on Apple Silicon. The whole transition to AS isn’t even complete yet. So, yes, fledgeling.
They have no discrete GPU, only SoC implementation.
Their ANE (APU) is the same and you need to convert into Core ML format.
Edit: I do not think they will actually drop support for PCIe because ARM-based SoCs can already implement PCIe.
But how support will look for existing devices is up to Apple and the vendors.
Putting expandability back into the pro was one of the major returns to form (as well as rack-mount), so I don’t see them going anywhere.

But we've only had to resort to this because the weeds are becoming resistant to the chemicals. This is just gonna cause the weeds to adapt to look more like wheat so they don't get lasered by the robot. Do you want rye? Because that's how you get rye.
(no joke, it's thought that due to early human farmers pulling weeds out of their crops of wheat and barley, rye evolved to look more like wheat and barley, and thus reducing its chance of being spotted and pulled. But eventually, it was so much like wheat and barley that it was a good enough crop to grow and harvest on its own)

Yeah but the modern pirate steamers playing out at max quality are well over 120Mbps at 4k. That’s Plex on Apple TV.

the big problem is the bitrate tho so even streaming services would serve 4k/8k if the bitrate is shit because its getting so compressed it doesnt really matter

Yes, but. Apple could easily use a desktop GPU as a gateway product.

If I remember correctly, some lawsuits are already targeting vehicle based subscription services. Can only see them cropping up more and more as the business model gains more ground.

At the very least it should be off by default with the option to turn it on
