I'm no psychologist, but I imagine that thing can't be good for people who struggle with loneliness or other mental health problems. Just like things like Replika and those weird animatronic sex dolls, it seems to me like it's specifically designed to prey on those people.

Besides, it is absolutely creepy. It's basically a disembodied robot mouth; what about that isn't creepy? That doesn't mean I'm criticizing people who would use it.

I don't get this sentiment. If you feel this way about it, you're not going to buy one. If two other people use it, that's their business and they are going to use it in their own private way.
