He truly has nothing to lose. Probably has a massive saving account protected from his business finances so he can just dick around with a billion dollar company, thousands of people's livelihoods, and if it goes tits up he is still a rich asshole.

Not surprised at all that he is clinging to this.

Hmm. Looks like it might work on a similar principle to those piezoelectric fans LTT did a video on a while back. I'd be very interested in seeing how they arranged the oscillators to pull air through like that.

Really there's a lot of technical information about the design that the article really doesn't go into. I'm also interested in the heat exchanger, since I would imagine they're generating comparatively lower airflow but also making everything very compact.

Kind of excited to see if thia goes anywhere.

This is probably a concept that “will” take off. Maybe not for awhile though. If they have a basis for how to do it at scale, and adapt to the market, they will be well positioned.

I think Apple will probably kick off widespread adoption of AR/VR.

That being said, no one wants to have their data skimmed by Meta.
