The newer planes can fly on 50% engine capacity just as the 747 could. Having 4 isn't necessarily better redundancy if you still need two working to fly.

Those technically rolled off the line two years ago, and are currently in the process of being modified to the specs of the contract.

You're right I got a replacement last year, I forgot. I don't even use the charger because it's always docked. But it's got the old style connector with 180w.

No he just said they would ‘comply’ - which could mean completely port less..

Then it can't be PD Revision 3.1 as it was only announced in 2021. Either it's a third party custom Dell modification, or it's not really a 130W charger at the point of the USB connection. Would be interesting to see what one of those power measurement cables said.

I got to design one repair for a DC-3 that one of the airlines runs for charity now. That was cool. Also very easy because fatigue isn't much of a concern without a pressurized cabin. If they had actually decided to re-engine MD-80s I think they could have operated practically forever. They are built like tanks. Also seems like the military will run B-52s until the end of time.

4 engines down to 2. The article also literally states they cheaper to make and references the reduction in engines.

According to standards, it shouldn't be possible to go over 100W without USB PD Revision 3.1, and only the very newest stuff has that and it's not that common yet. It's always possible your Dell falls into this category, but perhaps the 130W is from the wall or the USB-C output post voltage conversion?

Technically the 737MAX was on paper the exact same flight characteristics of an non-MAX model at the time of sale, so per regulators there was no need to have the pilots go through it. The Lion Air flight 610 and Ethiopian Air flight 302 tragedies were monumental fuckups from many sources, not just Boeing.

I think that interview was pretty indicative even if they didn't say the exact words "we're putting in USB-C and definitely not going only wireless charging".

Edit: If you want 747s, there's always Joni Mitchell:
>I pulled into the Cactus Tree Motel to shower off the dust
And I slept on the strange pillows of my wanderlust
I dreamed of 747s over geometric farms
Dreams Amelia, dreams and false alarms

Great advice. Comments from the medical side tend to be casual during a conversation and it's not stressed enough how important it is to keep moving.
Thankfully, there are some great support websites like smartpatients where others do stress the importance in their experience. I do know they get you out of bed as soon as possible to get moving, whilst plugged into all the machines in ICU.
The info coming from the hospital is not complete. I'm on the third FLOT session tomorrow and I've only just found out that regardless of how much the tumour shrinks they still remove the tissue which was affected and shown in pre chemo pet scans / laprascopy etc. I've spent a long time trying to find extra treatment which will further shrink the tumour with the attitude to minimise surgery. A patient I'm talking to online has finished her FLOT , CT shows no tumour and she was excited to think that means minimal surgery.
Appreciate the advice, thank you.

It's easily above 100w. My Dell work laptop has a 130w usb-c charger.

USB PD is already a standard. I've never seen a fast charger that wasn't USB PD and compatible with all devices except the original Nintendo switch.
