>It doesn’t properly allow for advancement of tech

Why do you want competition regarding computer charging when a huge collaboration of tech giants are working on a universal standard? Furthermore, Apple wasn't competing with USB; they were just isolating their ecosystem and forcing consumers on their own standard.

The guy above is right for the wrong reasons. The problem is, any new plug in the near/distant future is going to require yet another revision to the law, but instead what's gonna happen is that manufacturers will be forced to keep old tech (future old tech) in, in order to comply, rather than lose time and money pushing for new laws.

I personally went with the Microsoft Surface Duo 2. Microsoft took a different approach to the folding phone model and the Duo 2 is bananas. My big reservation with the folding phones is how delicate the inside screen can be and Microsoft solved that with their approach. Now that being said cases are very few and far between for the Duo 2 because of its unique design so it has other vulnerability considerations. Over all I've been blown away by the Duo 2 and I'll be grabbing a Duo 3 upon release.

Currently replying to you in a z fold. For me it's a great phone, I watch YouTube and almost all of my streaming shows on my phone and the big screen definitely is nice to have. The crease was something I noticed at first but over time I kinda forgot about it. Plus the folding part never comes loose which is surprising.

I think this phone is good if you're planning on using the big screen a lot, otherwise it might not be for you. It's pretty bulky in your pocket and the battery life is average at best. The folding screen is not perfect, not all apps are properly optimized for it, but it work surprisingly well for tech that's relatively early in its development.
