Some games it’s very easy to tell like cyberpunk, because of the sheer amount of glass and lights. But yeah if it’s not an environment like that it’s definitely harder to tell, although I find it makes people’s faces look way more real

AMD’s new graphics card is about as good as nvidia’s second best graphics card, the only exemption is one specific graphics setting in some games where RX 7000 series is loosing

It reminds me when anti-aliasing came out. That just massacred frames when it came out people where calling the same thing. Not worth the trouble. It did become standard. Same thing with RT. Give it time.

Most of the games I play have very little ray tracing, and instead care more about rasterization anyway. While this will likely change in the future, it's not likely to change this generation. I'll take the win on rasterization and the lower price any day - just like I did when I bought the 6900XT
