Do people actually want foldable phones? Samsung keeps advertising them like they’re the next big thing, but I’ve literally never heard anyone ask for them or even say they’re pretty good

That doesn't make sense to me. In what way can an Ethernet cable replace the steam link? You use steam link over the Ethernet cable, or wifi or wan if you feel like it.

Some of us like them. I get a lot of use out of my Z Fold 3. Was it worth the price? Probably not. Do I enjoy using it? Most definitely. Opened up that huge screen is great for navigation apps like Maps or Waze, as well as for consuming streaming video, then fold shut to easily fit into a pocket.

They're magnetic right? That part is cool. I haven't really ever found use for the other finger toggles, but have many claw hand friends that rank or whatever it's called these days.

The common sentiment with the Steam Link was that it was rendered redundant by just buying a really long ethernet cable.
It was a harsh sentiment, since I believe there's a genuine use case for the Link for situations where a long Ethernet cable won't cover.

And honestly if you can’t create good stills work with even an old 5dm2, the problem isn’t the camera. That was, in recent memory (10 years ago), what a lot of working pros I knew were using. I just bought a 5d3 for a few hundred bucks as a back-up body I can bring into situations where I don’t have to worry about my big investment getting damaged.
If you need a hybrid with great video specs for cheap Canon may not be the company for you (Fuji is who I’d recommend)

Yea, I had purchased a few extras before they went out of production, but no way I'm paying what people are asking now. Sucks because it basically caused me to stop playing Rocket league. Too old to re-develop muscle memory for a new controller layout after 2500+ hours in a game, really frustrating.

I'm a samsung fan, but it wasn't a small problem. They had to ban all note 7/galaxy 7 phones on flights because of how many were having their batteries catch fire/explode.
