Right which leads me to the topic of remaking the franchise or a full over haul of the first 2 because yes going back and playing them is rough af now but if they actually went hard af into it and fleshed the system out with a solid story and gameplay and keeping the gritty martial arts side to it, I think it could be a good come back like actually make the world feel more Alive almost like how Watchdogs 1 world felt but more updated... and just having solid fighting/shooting me mechanics and you got yourself a solid action cop game

At the end of the day, it's a business. SE has already showed where their head is at. Do u not think that there is a huge dedicated fan base for Deus ex? We can sit and hope for a reboot of a franchise that can be better than what it was but that's just hope. Imo there are a thousand titles in need of this. Parasite eve, f zero, blood omen / legacy of Cain, banjo. Etc I have a million ideas of good games with triple A funding that would kill it these days but the truth is. Not gonna happen. Not til it's profitable from the studio (sometimes profits don't even matter, they killed a Kojima / junji ito / del Toro, silent hill ffs lol) idk I'm older, I'm 30 and I seen wish list games come and get stuck in development hell and never make it so while I appreciate your sentiment, truth is. Not going to happen until it happens and seeing as sleeping dogs disappointed the devs so much, they not going to be ready to follow through on a remake for years, and def not going to attach true crime to it, of they ever did a reboot it will be a watch dogs reboot. Never again being true crime

I didn't think it was going to happen, I was just trying to see how many people would actually be interested in that if it did happen is simply what I'm getting at. I realize it's not happening anytime soon, but it is something I can see coming in the distant future. One can only hope as well as with the other games you listed

Sleeping dogs way better in all aspects, I played true crime when I came out and was super hyped about the real streets and iconic spots bc I'm from LA but quickly realized it just wasn't good. Sleeping dogs does everything it lacks in but also lacks bc of the dead open world. Maybe one day

I agree with the gameplay and story aspects, but the thing sleeping dogs was missing for me was the dispatch missions and the good cop/ bad cop thing to it. Because while you could get points deducted for doing bad cop stuff during missions... it had no other effect on the game. If they had let you do more police side of things, it would've filled that void for me, but other than that, I loved the game and have beaten it multiple times. Just wanted that True Crimes system in it
