What's wrong with this LOD? I checked every LOD model and it looked fine. he had no unnecessary vertex

Could this be a rendering breakdown? By which i mean when you turn the camera away, the rendering for that particular model shuts off temporarily, but if you turn back then it reloads the previous render state?

I saw something like this last night, and it was to do with that sort of thing.
