Hyrule Warriors is one of the better ones. Lots of content, runs great on Switch and is just fun.

My personal favorite for Switch is the original Fire Emblem Warriors.

I also recommend Samurai Warriors 5 since it's a soft reboot of the Samurai Warriors series.

And also Warriors Orochi 4. It has every Dynasty and Warriors character plus original characters and has almost 180 unique playable characters

Like, using the same game engine to make pretty much the same game. They may not mean to do it, but they see the same layout, level, cosmetics, game play type they’ve seen for years and redeploy it on “their game” and say it’s new.

Definitely just Doom (2016) or Doom: Eternal. You fall into the rhythm of slaying, and it's the most carthetic thing I've experienced. Or if you're into PC stuff, Doom (classic) with some mods like Brutal Doom would also work. The guys over at r/DoomMods could provably hook you up with good suggestions if that's the way you wanna go for it.

Open world games. I want maps a third the size but three times the density. Please. That or more games that have multiple levels of small open worlds. The Hitman series does that perfectly, but you can do it with much more linear games as well.
