While there is a fair bit of traveling around the map, Mad Max has some awesome and visceral melee combat. Feels really satisfying when you shit-mix the enemies in a brawl

Why do old games open so quickly, why do i wait 1 to 2 minutes to reach the main menu in a 2022 triple A game while when i click the dead space 2 logo on my dekstop in a litteral second im in the main menu

The publishers of Stray, Annapurna Interactive, have a large selection of short puzzle type games---I'd go through their collection and then see what's available for PS4. Might try Neon White; it's a puzzle/platformer fps/speedrunner game that got a shoutout on Zero Punctuation as his favorite of 2022---been debating getting it myself, looks fun but I'm not big on shooters.
