So basically OP just discovered the AA market? Hi-Fi Rush is not a triple A game. There are a lot of the usual tells that the team was working within a tighter budget. Big stand outs being the heavy and clever re-use of environments (just making minor changes so they're a "new" area) and the way they handle cutscenes. Any scene they don't absolutely need action just uses the in-game character models standing in their idle pose with shot/reverse shot.

Not to mention the game was shadow dropped and is only $30.

Got good news for you, there are tons of similar games to this that have been releasing the last few years. Not in the fact they're rhythm combat games, but games with similar scope and size with little to no DLC and are just focused on a fun gameplay experience.
