  1. you might find a bundle which includes one or more games but generally you are just buying the console and

  2. you can download games from the online store (XB and PS) or install from retail disc if you have a disc version of the console (ps5)

  3. There are demos for some games - or wait for the sales - or subscribe to the game streaming options - monthly/annual fee to access a library of games (XB and PS)

  4. The difference is mostly the exclusive games for each platform. If you want TLoU/Uncharted/Spider-man go with PS, if you want Starfield/Halo go with XB

  5. These consoles are for your living room/bedroom and are not portable like the Switch, you will need a tv, monitor or projector.

  6. I recommend watching the online store sales for whichever you choose PS or XB, as a new adopter you are prime to grab plenty of bargains.

Xbox with Game Pass is better in terms of value for your dollar if you want to play old games.

PS5 is better if you want to play the latest original exclusives. Playstation exclusives stomp on Xbox exclusives.

That's really the main difference.

  1. Games do not come preloaded
  2. Yes, through the games store 3 You probably won’t find a free version of a game that cost money but they do get discounts. There are also free games to download.
  3. They are own by different companies and some games are exclusive to the console. They have different pros and cons.
  4. You NEED to have a tv or monitor to play both systems. These are not handheld devices. It come with a controller and a stationary console.
  5. I would recommend Spider-Man for the PS5 and maybe Halo and Doom for the Xbox (I’m not well versed in Xbox games)

Neither are similar to switch - on the Xbox store they have free games and usually they’ll have demos for the Lego games etc you can play; for Ps5 probably the Miles Morales Ultimate addition that also gets you the Peter Parker version with the DLCs and everything; honestly great game and has a lot to complete between the 2

Lego games never disapoint. They are hella simple, yet are those kind of games that completing at its 100% is enjoyable. And the best part is that they keep improving every time without loosing their essence
