It’s not the game I don’t like it’s the community’s that play the game and are toxic about it. Every online game is fun, until someone ruins the mood by trash talking, and then more and more people trash talk. Ruining the fun of the game being online at all

It's pretty fun even if you play casually. Many of the class stories are superb. However, since it's a f2p mmo, a lot of features that are necessary for "getting ahead" are purchased from the store. like different cosmetic options and some convenience unlocks are only obtainable through the store

i never could do that, I used to play through FF7 once a year but then one year I just stopped. I just don't do nostalgia gaming anymore.

Yeah, that might be the case but this piece is purely about the survival horror part.

well I don't mind debating it , and I know where you're coming from, but if you're looking for a game that classifies as sci fi survival horror, what would be the first thing that comes to mind.

For me it was this, and a part of that was also because it's also a masterpiece.

Eh, it's basically a WoW-killer that didn't kill WoW, except it cost a bajillion dollars to produce. It's F2P now, so there's no reason not to try it if you have the time and storage space.

Start with the Sith Inquisitor or Sith Warrior. If I remember correctly, they're supposed to have the better stories. (Research that on your own first. I didn't make it particularly far, and it was a long time ago.)

There's a difference between friendly trash talk and trolling somebody into rage quitting. The trash talk in gaming is much farther out than other competitions.

It happens a lot in Mortal Kombat online because it’s a loser’s way of trying to distract you since whoever is trash talking doesn’t have any skill.

Honestly anyone who’s got music playing in the background, obviously streaming to an audience, or having kids screaming while playing is more annoying.

I've heard good things and look forward to giving it a shot. the only thing is I've stayed away from risk of rain 2 and not sure if returnal is in the same veign but just looks better.

Bioshock has vending machines which give ammo and health and respawning enemies that give money, meaning you can get an infinite amount, which alone means it isn't a survival game since survival games rely on finite resources.

Yeah, my immediate response “have you tried dead space? I barely can play the fucking game”. BioShock is awesome , but I mean by the time we got BS3 I was like “wow, what a cute animation!”.

I tried getting into to it a few years ago. I also didnt have much experience with MMO's. And well, its an MMO. Meaning there is a step learning curve and grinding. After a few hours I gave up.
