This is the way. Walkthroughs or beginner guides are usually the best way to determine if you'll enjoy a game or not. I usually watch beginner guides or something along the lines of "The old Republic in 2022/2023" to get an idea of what to expect from the game.

I’d argue it belongs somewhere in the horror genre. That opening part when you first emerge from the metal elevator thing or whatever it was and that fucked up girl is like crawling around making weird noises and shit, definitely set a tone for the rest of the game

Then you have tiny children being guided buy murderous robots, lunatical survivors trying to kill you in dark rooms, it’s definitely some type of horror game.

Childhood me was scared shitless the first time I played this game
